The Palm Court, a spacious and tropical, yet peaceful, interior room of the glasshouse, is the focal point of the Conservatory. It is home to palms that stand gracefully at heights of up to 50 feet, as well as statues, park benches, and a relaxing central courtyard.
The South Conservatory, used for seasonal flower shows, is one of the Conservatory’s main display areas. When combined with the Palm Court, the South Conservatory is an excellent room for food and beverage stations.
The Tropical Forest Conservatory, Phipp's latest addition, is a 12,000 square foot display space featuring a new tropical theme every two years. A meandering path, tree-top lookout, waterfalls and fish pond make this space unrivaled in Pittsburgh. Adjacent to the Tropical Forest is our Special Events Hall that is dedicated to hosting private events. For more information about the Special Events Hall, click on the link to the left.
