Phipps is seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership by directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with accounting principles issued by the FASB, the SEC and other regulatory and advisory organizations. The CFO will participate in the development of Phipps' plans and programs as a strategic partner by evaluating and advising on the financial consequences of long-range planning, proposals and on the introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends; monitoring grant spending and preparing financial reports required by granting agencies; overseeing the accounting department, budget preparation and all audit functions; preparing monthly financial statements and cash flow projections for operating, restricted and capital funds; overseeing Phipps' risk management functions.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards. A master’s degree and 3-5 years of senior management experience is required; non-profit experience is preferred; a licensed CPA is a plus. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and have excellent written and verbal communications skills; experience with Blackbaud products is preferred.
