Phipps is seeking a full-time Guest Service Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the guest service department, striving to maintain a platinum level of guest service. The Guest Service Manager will open and close admissions and occasionally the gift shop, train employees on consistently providing exceptional guest service, and will coordinate and schedule staff positions for admissions. The Guest Service Manager will oversee the quality of guest service throughout the Conservatory and all guest service areas, working with the Associate Director of Visitor Services to maintain and improve the guest experience at Phipps. Other responsibilities include interacting with guests and presenting the Conservatory in a positive, friendly and courteous tone to all guests.
The qualified candidate must have excellent guest service, organizational and computer skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend, evening and holiday availability are required. Two to three years’ increasingly responsible retail/customer service experience preferred; museum/nonprofit experience is a plus.
