Looking for a fun, safe, group activity for your friends or colleagues? Book a private virtual class for your group, or join an existing class at a discounted group rate. Phipps Culinary Arts and Floral Design programs offer fun, hands-on experiences that are perfect for adult groups looking for an engaging and relaxing experience. Reserve a Private Program
Fill out this Google Form to submit your inquiry, and an education staff member will connect with you to develop a customized program to fit your group’s schedule, size and interests. Please contact us at least 4 weeks prior to your desired program date. See below for pricing and additional details.
Standard Pricing
Culinary Arts
Private group programs last between 90 and 120 minutes and cost $20 per person, with a minimum of $750 per program. Phipps can provide a grocery list for you to source, or provide grocery pick-up from our Oakland campus for an additional ~$25 - $35 per person depending on the program.
Floral Design
Private group programs last between 60 – 90 minutes, and cost $20 per person, with a minimum of $500 per program. Phipps can provide a material list for your to source, or provide material pick-up from our Oakland campus for an additional ~$35 - $50 per person depending on the program.
Sustainable Landcare
Private group programs last between 60 – 75 minutes with a suggested honorarium of $50 – $100. Phipps trained Master Gardeners share talks on making your garden more environmentally friendly and attractive to beautiful butterflies, bumbling bees and more! Current topics available including Planting for Pollinators and Sustainable Landcare Principles and Practices.

Join an Existing Class at a Group Rate
Groups of 10 or more are eligible to register for current Phipps virtual classes at a discount of 50% off of the lecture fee. Full material costs still apply where applicable, and we encourage early enrollment to guarantee adequate supplies. To register, contact our Adult Education Department at edu@phipps.conservatory.org. We will need a final participant list with email addresses 1 week prior to start date.
