  • Fall Flower Show: Happy Troll-O-Ween! | Opens Sat., Oct. 9. 
    Spooky season has arrived at Phipps and the trolls are taking their final encore with an October celebration of all things creepy and crawly as The Hidden Life of Trolls presents Fall Flower Show: Happy Troll-O-Ween! 
  • Ikebana International Exhibit
    In this new exhibit in our Welcome Center Gallery, view displays from all five schools of Ikebana International. 
  • Tropical Forest Cuba 
    Experience the natural beauty and culture of Cuba, one of the most biodiverse Caribbean island nations on Earth, in our immersive Tropical Forest exhibit.
  • Planets Earth Virtual Exhibit
    A dynamic exhibit at the Center for Sustainable Landscapes (and now online) addresses the pressing environmental issues of our time and proposes a new way of thinking about how to solve them.

  • Virtual Story Time | 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
    Join us for stories, sing-alongs and fun activities you can do from home each Wednesday!
  • Virtual Explorers Academy: Habitat Explorers | 5 – 5:45 p.m. 
    Virtually join Sarah Cullo, Let's Move Pittsburgh program coordinator, for an exciting new way to incorporate multisensory play and learning into your daily activity.
  • October Wild Wonders: Baby Animals: What We Can Learn from a Bear Cub | 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. 
    How can bear cubs transform from fuzzy little fur balls into one of North America’s largest predators? Join us to learn how families of bears prepare throughout the fall for their winter hibernation.

    Garden Railroad: Bridges and Tunnels pulls into the station with miniature recreations of iconic western Pennsylvania scenes, bustling with chugging trains and filled with live plants.
