Some areas of the public garden occasionally close during normal business hours for private events and other activities, as follows: 

• Wed., Feb. 18: Broderie Room, 3 – 3:45 p.m.
• Sun., Feb. 22: Tropical Forest, 3 – 5 p.m.
• Tues., Feb. 24: Broderie Room, 4:15 – 5 p.m.
• Sat., Feb. 28: Broderie Room, 1 – 3 p.m. and 4 – 5 p.m.
• Sat., March 7: Broderie Room, 4:30 – 5 p.m.
• Fri., March 27: Tropical Forest, 4:30 – 10 p.m.
• Fri., May 15: Full Conservatory, 3 – 5 p.m. 

Traffic Alerts and Road Closures

• Please note that the nearby Panther Hollow Bridge and Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge are presently closed to vehicular traffic, but it's still easy to visit by following posted detour signs. For Charles Anderson Memorial Bridge information, please visit the City of Pittsburgh website. A Panther Hollow Bridge detour can be achieved by utilizing Hobart Street, Beacon Street, Wightman Street and Schenley Drive; click here for an image.
• On Fri., April 10 and Sat., April 11, Schenley Drive will not be fully accessible to vehicles until 1 p.m. on this day. The Conservatory will be open for regular business hours; guests arriving prior to noon are encouraged to find off-site parking via our Directions and Parking page.
