At The Market: Belle Farm

By Carina Martin

Goats may not be the cleanest creatures, but their milk can keep you squeaky clean. Belle Farm grew from proprietors Cindy and Lou Bagwell’s desire to provide a gentler alternative to harsh soaps and scrubs. Crafted from goat’s milk and other natural ingredients, their bars, bath bombs and shaving soaps lift impurities from the skin gently rather than scrubbing them away with abrasive chemicals. Goat milk’s soothing, regenerative properties are especially beneficial for those who suffer from sensitivities, allergies or skin conditions like eczema. The Belle Farm stand features a variety of imaginative scent combinations, from delightful Honey Almond and crisp Ginger Lime to spicy Pumpkin and refreshing Tea Tree Lemon. Cindy also keeps a stash of gift bags at the table for customers who want to give the gift of healthy, radiant skin.

Belle Farm will visit Phipps’ Green Market on the first, third and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 2:30—6:30 p.m. They can also be found at bellefarmllc.com, or at bellefarmllc@gmail.com.
