Like the bouncy song says, sometimes we all need to “move it, move it;” and from amoebas to insects to sunflowers to humans, nature has quite a variety of ways to help us all move from Point A to Point B! Across the living world, there are a variety of strategies that living things use to move, but here is just a taster of some of the themes and trends we see behind the phenomenon of locomotion!
