In the Welcome Center Gallery, enjoy a series of photos showing the evolution of Phipps' entrance over the past 125 years.

In 2018, Phipps celebrates its 125th year of inspiring guests with the beauty and wonders of nature. In that time, millions have walked through our front door to behold vibrant seasonal flower shows, special events, public programs and groundbreaking green innovation — although the front door has not always looked the same. This exhibit, which is on display in our Welcome Center through the remainder of 2018, shows images of Phipps and how it has welcomed guests over the decades.

Phipps was gifted to the City of Pittsburgh by Henry Phipps in 1893. The City is thankful to the Board of Trustees for being stewards of this gem of our Schenley Park.
