Phipps’ Jazz in the Garden Returns with Brand New Band of Pittsburgh Talents
Guests are Invited to Enjoy Live Music Amongst the Beauty of the Outdoor Garden

Pittsburgh, PA — On Wed., July 19, from 6 – 8 p.m, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens  brings Jazz in the Garden back to the Outdoor Garden to provide an evening of live music. This year, Phipps is partnering with the Center of Life (COL), based in Hazelwood, which strives to support their community members with rich academic out-of-school programs and outstanding experiences in music and arts. The COL provides programs for kids to a youth-led hip hop production company through the KRUNK movement, giving families life skills, education, training and resources necessary to strengthen their communities.

The ProBrand from COL is proficient in many styles of music, from soul jazz to Latin jazz, bossa nova to jazz funk and bebop to rhythm & blues. Listeners can expect to hear standards that everybody knows as well as lively tunes that you can dance to. Phipps is honored to host this amazing organization and to showcase their talented musicians in the lush Outdoor Garden.

General Admission tickets cost $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. V.I.P. tickets cost $40 for members and $45 for nonmembers. Picnic meal boxes can be added for $27 and sparkling juice, wine and beer, will be available at a cash bar.
