When we think of amazing scenes from around the globe, we sometimes picture faraway tropical forests or frozen tundras but did you know that we have some awesome biodiversity, geology and topograhy right here in Pennsylvania? From intelligent wildlife to resilient plants and a geological history that ultimately helped Pittsburgh to change the world, come learn about what makes our place, the ecology and biology of Western Pennsylvania, so special.
Follow along each month as Dr. Maria Wheeler-Dubas will be stationed in the Conservatory on select Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to highlight the biology and science behind each of our distinctive seasons. View our upcoming Science Table Talk topics below!
