Sonic Meditation with Huldra Quartet

Join Huldra Quartet for an immersive concert experience focused on deep listening, mindfulness and musical connection.
Phipps is pleased to present a first-of-its-kind Sonic Meditation with Huldra Quartet. Combining live performance with guided breathwork, meditation and somatic exercises, this 50-minute program invites audiences to engage with music both physically and emotionally through breathing, humming, clapping and focused listening.
Featuring works my Philip Glass, Max Richter and other contemporary composers, Huldra Quartet will guide listeners to notice repeated musical figures, subtle changes in texture and the shared experience of sound in the room. Audience members may breathe to the beat, hum sustained tones with the ensemble or participate in simple rhythmic exercises that deepen awareness and presence.
Designed for both seasoned concertgoers and newcomers alike, this interactive performance offers a reflective and welcoming space to experience music as a form of collective listening and connection.
Entry to this event is $35 for nonmembers, $30 for members, and $15 for children 2–18, and includes access to the Conservatory. Click the button below to get your tickets today!
