Wed., Dec. 18, Phipps is proud to present Winter Wonders and Cool Carols: An Evening with Colin Aikins — a night of music and fun that will bring even more holiday spirit to the gleaming glasshouse decked out with holiday displays. This one-night-only performance features Colin Aikins, a classically trained tenor currently studying vocal performance at the Juilliard School. As a native Pittsburgher, Colin is thrilled to return to his hometown to share his passion for music alongside a professional pianist. Tickets include a 60-minute performance in Phipps' Special Events Hall and Conservatory admission, so guests can explore Phipps Holiday Magic. Plus, stop by Café Phipps to purchase wine and refreshments after the show.
Tickets to Winter Wonders and Cool Carols are $40 for adults and $25 for children. Phipps member discounts will be applied to tickets once they are added to your cart.

About Colin Aikins
Colin Aikins, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a tenor pursuing his Master’s degree in vocal performance at the Juilliard School. Colin received his bachelor’s of music at the Curtis Institute of Music and studied with Julia Faulkner of the Chicago Lyric Opera. Credits include: Trouble in Tahiti (Trio), Sweeney Todd (The Beadle), Highway 1, USA (Nate), Albert Herring (Mr. Upfold), Dangerous Liaisons (Chavelier de Danceny) for the Curtis Opera Theater. Colin is excited to be studying under the tutelage of esteemed tenor William Burden.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance, which will begin promptly. Please plan to arrive early as seating is not assigned and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
