Native Plant and Sustainability Conference

Phipps' annual Native Plant and Sustainability Conference returns for a two-day forum on plants, landscapes and our role as environmental stewards.

Day 1 is for professionals in the field. Join us for a day of learning focused on topics for the green industry professional, whether you are new to sustainable land care or are looking to deepen your practices there is something for you. Learn how to grow your business with regenerative practices; how the right processes can improve garden success and connect with local native plant nurseries. The day ends with a reception; meet all the conference speakers and make new friends in the field.

Day 2 is open for both professionals and hobby gardeners. Expand your understanding of sustainability and learn new ways to incorporate natives into your life! Native lawns, who would have thought? See how you can transform an ornamental garden into one that is both beautiful and that welcomes wildlife. Biodiversity, regenerative landscaping, and the city’s solutions to deer pressure will all be highlighted in this year’s conference! Join us in celebrating all things native and sustainable.

This year's conference, which will be held in-person on Fri., Jan. 29 and Sat., Jan. 30, will feature an exciting line up of speakers and topics. Registration for each day is separate.

This conference counts as a 4 hour elective credit for the following Phipps certificate programs: Ecological Gardening and Landscape and Garden Design. CEU credits for PCH and LA CES are pending; please inquire for more information.
