Phipps' beloved Agave americana is making its final appearance in the glasshouse with a big bloom before its slow decline. Currently growing so large that Phipps staff had to remove a glass pane from the Desert Room ceiling, this big bloom signifies that this plant is about to reach the end of its life, meaning that Phipps will have to remove the Agave once the bloom reaches its peak. The fun doesn't stop there! The first 300 guests to arrive at 5 p.m. or later can receive a complimentary potted succulent, a splendid seasonal addition to your home decor.
