Halloween Happenings

Bring little ghouls and ghosts to the gardens for family-friendly Halloween fun!

When you feel a chill in the air and see pumpkins everywhere, you know it's almost Halloween — and Phipps' spook-tacular gardens are the perfect place for your family to celebrate! Ghosts and goblins of all ages can come to the Conservatory in costume for a day of festive activities, all free with regular admission. Guests will enjoy face painting, see spectacular magic shows, play special Halloween games, delight at carved pumpkins, pot their very own creepy plants, sink their teeth into delicious, healthy snacks and more. Plus, Phipps’ popular witches brew station will return with all of its live creepy creatures, and our Garden Railroad: Memories in Motion and Fall Flower Show: 125 Years of Wonder — including the "House of Horrorticulture" display, a spooky tribute to Phipps' Halloween shows of the past and Night of the Living Dead filmmaker George A. Romero — will be open for exploring.
