Families are invited to discover a whole new world of animals, tropicals and more at Phipps' Jungle Journey party!

Flamingos and giraffes and alligators - OH MY! On Fri., June 13, kick off your summer with Phipps' exciting family fun night: Jungle Journey! Families are invited to join in on the summer fun with safari themed activity stations spread throughout our Summer Flower Show: Jungle Quest and Tropical Forest Panama exhibits. Guests can look forward to stations like learning about beautiful palm trees, striking a pose at our flamingo photo op, view hissing cockroaches and more!

Activity Stations:

Meet a Nature Ranger! 
Begin your journey into the jungle with a meet and greet from our Phipps Nature Ranger! 

Join a RIBBIT-ing Craft Session! 
Stop by the Gallery Room to learn about the relationship between frogs and bromeliads while making an adorable paper craft! 

Learn about Interesting Insects! 
Meet a hissing cockroach and learn all about their eating habits, ecosystem and more! 

Enjoy a Story from a Safari Storyteller! 
Stop down to the Tropical Forest Conservatory for a safari themed story time at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. 

Take a Break with a Traveler's Palm!
Recharge at our water station and learn about the beautiful Traveler's Palm plant! 

Strike a Pose!
Visit our Serpentine Room to strike a pose and snap a picture at our flamingo photo op! 

This event is free with regular Conservatory admission, and guests are welcome to plan their arrivals at any time before or during event hours. Members and children under 2 are free.
