Important Note Regarding New Membership and Timed Tickets
Please note that new and renewing membership orders placed online will have valid timed ticket logins within one business day provided that a phone number is entered during registration — you do not need to wait for your digital card to arrive. Why is Phipps switching to digital membership cards?
It is part of Phipps’ mission to advance sustainability. By issuing digital membership cards, we save thousands of pounds of paper a year plus the emissions created by mailing printed cards to you. Thank you for helping us save valuable resources and help the environment!
Who receives a digital membership card?
Digital membership cards are sent to new and returning members with an email address on file within one business day. If you have already received a card, a new one will not be sent. The expiration date on your downloaded card will automatically update each time you renew. Need your cards resent, or want to update your email address? We can help! Contact us at members@phipps.conservatory.org.
How do I add the digital membership card to my phone?
For iPhone users: access the email from your smartphone and click the “Download” button, then click “Add to Wallet” and “Add.” The card will automatically be saved in your iPhone’s Apple Wallet and can be accessed at any time. If you do not see the email, please check your spam and promotions folders.
For Android users: download Wallet Passes from Google Play. Once you have the app, access the email from your smartphone and click the “Download” button. The card will automatically be saved in your Wallet Passes app and can be accessed at any time. If you do not see the email, please check your spam and promotions folders.
There is another named member on my membership. Can I share their card with them?
Navigate to the back of the card and use the share icon (box with arrow in top right corner – iPhone users) or “Share Pass” link (Android users) to send the card to the other individual(s) named on your membership. Please note that members must have a photo ID upon entry.
I prefer not to or am unable to use a digital membership card. Can I still use my membership?
Absolutely! Your digital membership card is not required to reserve tickets or visit Phipps.
Reserving tickets? Visit phipps.conservatory.org/Tickets and enter the last name and last four digits of the phone number associated with the membership.
Don’t have your tickets? Named adults on your membership can show a valid photo ID at the Welcome Center to enjoy free admission.
How does membership renewal work?
The renewal process has not changed – renew your membership online, by check, in person at the Welcome Center, or over the phone and the expiration date on your digital card will automatically update once the membership is processed.
