Phipps Conservatory Serves up Hauntingly Good Fun for Halloween
Annual events offer festive activities for all ages
Pittsburgh, PA – This October, Phipps Conservatory invites guests to enjoy spooky season with two evenings of fun. Guests 21 and up are encouraged to attend a glowing gathering under glass, Phipps After Dark: House of Haunts on Fri., Oct. 17. Next, on Fri., Oct. 24, little ghouls and ghosts can enjoy family friendly festivities at Halloween Happenings.
At Phipps After Dark: House of Haunts, attendees are encouraged to come in costume, grab a drink at the cash bar, dance to the spooky tunes from DJ melkieand use the glowing glasshouse as a gorgeous botanical backdrop for photos. Families at Halloween Happenings can look forward to a spectacular magic show, a fantastic photo booth, a black magic kale plant to take home and so much more.
Fall Flower Show: Visions of Japan provides stunning autumnal displays inspired by Japanese culture. Guests are invited to explore the spectacular chrysanthemum displays and enjoy the interactive Garden Railroad: The Age of Dinosaurs.
All activities are free with the price of Conservatory admission. Members and kids under 2 enter at no cost. Limited free parking is available in the center island on Schenley Drive and in the metered spaces along the street after 6 p.m. For more information, visit phipps.conservatory.org.
