Join us for a full day of exciting activities for all ages at our first festival to celebrate the Tropical Forest Panama exhibit. Festivities include entertainment, activities and more inspired by the one-of-a-kind place where people, plants and animals comprise a thriving ecosystem that constitutes one of the wildest places on Earth.
Festival Activities
- Learn about Panamanian culture
- Take a closer look at the plants and animals of Panama
- Taste Panamanian-inspired refreshments
- Get an up-close look at forest floor decomposers
Children's Crafts
- Take part in pot-a-plant
Families can pot their own pinto bean plants and grow an ingredient commonly used in Panamanian cuisine! - Stop by the ranger station to explore the layers of the forest
Featured Activities
- Mola Artwork and Craft Demonstration | 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Learn about authentic handmade items and browse mola artwork for purchase. - Ritmos y Danzas de Panama Performance | 2 – 3 p.m.
Enjoy live traditional Panamanian folk music and dances.
Each of these activities is free with Conservatory admission. Members and kids under 2 enter at no cost.
