Conquer the Soil: An Evening of Stories with Abra Lee

Join Storyteller Abra Lee for an Evening of History, Horticulture and More!

Black Americans have always been trailblazers, leaders, and visionaries in the world of plants — from the first Black florist west of the Mississippi to a multihyphenate entomological artist extraordinaire, from academics who have led the way shaping future generations of horticulturists to the popular garden club women of Pittsburgh. For one special evening, guests can join storyteller and author Abra Lee on a journey through American history as we celebrate these iconic plant people and their extraordinary achievements.
