New Line-up of Fun, Educational Summer Camps Available at Phipps Conservatory
Children will love learning about the natural world this summer

Pittsburgh, PA – This summer, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is excited to announce a wide range of summer camps to engage young explorers. Phipps summer camps highlight ecology, conservation and summer-related concepts through hands-on activities. Each session allows children to become immersed in the incredible world of Phipps while making discoveries that encourage their respect for the environment to grow.

Phipps’ Summer Camps Overview:

  • The Bees Made Our Lunch! | July 21 – 24; ages 6 – 10 In this class, young chefs will have the opportunity use a variety of fruits, vegetables, and nut butters to create delicious snacks, fruit salads and baked goods.
  • Chop, Sizzle and Roll | July 28 – 31; ages 10 – 14 Teens and preteens will have the opportunity to improve their knife and sauté skills while creating delicious lunch options that sizzle and roll.
