Phipps Conservatory Announces New Vintage Mixer Night
Explore an Exclusive Evening Market Bursting with Vintage Treasures

Pittsburgh, PA – On Thurs., Aug. 21 from 6 – 9 p.m., Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is hosting its first Vintage Mixer Night in collaboration with Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer. This one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly event will feature an market of vintage clothing, knick-knacks, vinyl and other treasures. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy local food and beverage vendors, a live DJ, and full access to Summer Flower Show: Jungle Quest and Tropical Forest Panama exhibits.

Participating Vendors:

  • Shindig Alley - curated selection of midcentury modern furniture and decor with stocked vintage boutique with vintage clothing and jewelry
  • Streekers Vintage - vintage clothing and wares with a focus on maximalist pieces from the 1950s through the 1970s
  • Mudroom Vintage - colorful and practical vintage clothing, accessories, and shoes for everyday adventures
  • Swank Cat's Psychedelic Relics - groovy vintage collectibles, oddities, ephemera, posters, multimedia and more!
  • MANGO Vntg - vintage and collectible home decor, furniture and collectible advertising-related items
  • Jackie Whoa Vintage - a vintage collection of fashion and housewares curated around bold colors, prints, inclusive sizing and special pieces that make people go, "whoa!"
  • Highway Robbery Vintage - authentic vintage apparel and accessories for men and women from the 1950s to early 2000s
  • Jessie Dresses - carefully curated collection of classic silhouettes, bold prints, and literary looks; size-inclusive pieces include 1970s jumpsuits, 1980s tee-shirts, and 1960s formal wear, and vintage accessories and housewares are also available

Entry to this event is $35 for nonmembers, $30 for members, and $15 for college students (with valid ID). Entry fee includes access to the market and the Conservatory; food, drink and vintage items are sold separately. Limited free parking is available in the center island on Schenley Drive and in the metered spaces along the street after 6 p.m.
