Phipps Conservatory Offers a New Season of Adult Education Classes
Students Can Now Enroll in a Variety of Phipps Classes as May – August Season Kicks Off

Pittsburgh, PA – Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is thrilled to offer a wide array of new classes for adults in both virtual and in-person formats! From ecological gardening to culinary arts to floral design, there is truly an enriching program for everyone to enjoy. Phipps’ course schedule includes both in-person and virtual classes, providing learning opportunities to suit a wide range of lifestyles.  

The following are a few of the courses being offered to students. Please note that classes with ^ are held virtually via Zoom:

  • Weaving a Catalan Tray | May 20
  • Birdwatching in Schenley Park | May 20
  • ^ Phipps Flower Club
    • Early Season | May 31, June 14, 28 and July 12
    • Late Season | Aug. 9, 23, Sept. 6, 20 and Oct. 4
  • ^ Herbal Medicine Making: Summer Session | June 14, 28, July 12,26 and Aug. 9
  • ^ Botanical Beverages: Cocktails and Mocktails from the Garden | July 21
  • Woven Willow Foraging Basket | Aug. 19 and 20
