Spring Flower Show 1996: A Symphony of Color
March 16 – April 14, 1996
A tribute to the centennial season of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, this show featured archival photos; the music stand of Victor Herbert, the Symphony’s first music director; and a host of blooms including azaleas, nasturtiums, hydrangeas, tulips, hyacinths and lilies. A gazebo on loan from Western Pennsylvania Conservancy was also displayed.
