Pittsburgh’s blockbuster holiday experience brings more indoor and outdoor splendor than ever before!
Pittsburgh, PA – Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens’ popular Winter Flower Show and Light Garden returns Fri., Nov. 29 with all-new glowing splendor and family fun. For 126 years, Phipps has been a beloved family tradition, and the upcoming Holiday Magic! show is the best and brightest yet, with a glowing Victorian glasshouse and over ten acres of colorful gardens and lights to explore.
This year’s show brings more indoor and outdoor splendor than ever before, and — with an exciting Festival of Trees theme — makes holiday trees the centerpiece of Phipps’ winter wonderland. Features include a tree carousel, colorful poinsettia trees, a floating forest of sparkling trees reflecting on water, a frozen forest with charming topiary reindeer and many more holiday surprises. The magic continues in the outdoor Winter Light Garden, where guests can wander through a glowing tunnel, delight at a fountain of lights and snap a photo in front of illuminated orbs, cones and other festive forms, plus much more.
Plus, with an interactive Garden Railroad, live musical performances, Santa Visits, Family Fun Evenings and more, there are plenty of opportunities for families to celebrate the holidays at Phipps.
Holiday Magic! Winter Flower Show and Light Garden opens Fri., Nov. 29 and runs through Sun., Jan. 12. Timed tickets are required in advance for all guests and can be purchased at phipps.conservatory.org/Tickets. Daily hours for Winter Flower Show are 9:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. and 5 – 11 p.m. for Winter Light Garden. Phipps closes at 5 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 24 and reopens at 9:30 a.m. on Wed., Dec. 26.
