Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is honored to be a part of this year's Virtual RADical Days! Now active on Phipps website, guests are invited to sign-up to enjoy a variety of virutal activies right from their own home. Enjoy story time held every Wednesday, explore the Planets Earth exhibit, catch an informative documentary through Virtual Environmental Film series and so much more! Check out the events below and register to attend!

  • Virtual Story Time  |  Wednesdays; 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.  |  Advance registration required
    Story Time is now online! Join us each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. for a 30-minute Story Time and receive a link to a fun activity that you can complete at home. Each week, we will share a new story and activity!
  • Planets Earth  |  24/7 Access via Phipps website
    A new exhibit in the Center for Sustainable Landscapes, "Planets Earth" takes you inside the problem of resource use as a central catalyst for climate change and other environmental issues, identifies the ways of thinking that drive conventional decision making today, and forges a courageous new path toward changing the way we interact with the world — from large-scale infrastructural change to actions guests can take in their own lives.
  • Biophilia Pittsburgh  |  First Thursday of every month  |  Advance registration required
    Biophilia: Pittsburgh meets monthly at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens where, over delicious small-plates and light refreshments, a discipline or behavior is identified — often by an expert guest speaker — and discussed among the participants in the interest of sharing ideas and identifying opportunities.
  • Virtual Environmental Film Series  |  Third Friday of every month  |  Advance registration required
    Virtual Environmental Film Series invites folks to learn watch educational documentaries presented by Phipps via Zoom, with a follow up of a Q&A to discuss the movie’s content, meaning and significance.
